Mechanical Engineering in DIT took him to the cockpit and then he subsequently held Flight Ops management positions with Aer Lingus & Qatar Airways including A320 Chief Pilot, Technical & Engineering oversight, industrial & recruitment management roles. Completion of MBA in UCD Smurfit led to the formation of Kelstar Aviation in 2020.
Director Flight Operations
Ray has over 20 years B737 & A320 experience at both Ryanair and Aer Lingus including operational management roles and is a current Training Captain TRI/TRE with plenty of Aircraft Ferry & Demo experience.
Manager Aircraft Transitions
Jen has 12 years experience in ferrying aircraft for leasing companies, airlines and OEMs including 8 years as Head of Ops at Sigma where she obtained the first ever ferry flight Operators Approval from Bermuda.
Head of Training – CTO
Gar oversees our pilot onboarding and e-learning certification. He is an experienced Instructor on the A320 and ensures all our ferry pilots conform to consistent procedures after completing the e-learning package required.
Finance Manager
Joe Oversees our Financial side of the house with almost two decades of financial experience. He is also rated on the A330 and A320 with previous Boeing 737 experience. He is a TRE/TRI on A320.
Business & Admin Manager
Siobhan is a commerce graduate from GMIT, with over 20 years’ experience working in business analysis, project management and finance roles across the Environmental, IT, Financial and Industrial sectors.
Manager Safety & Compliance
Declan looks after Compliance and Safety management requirements on our operations. Manual management in the evolving regulatory world is important and requires his decades of experience. He has held roles in Safety departments, technical operations, flight planning, IOSA audit and nominated person roles. Declan has worked in both the Airline and regulatory environment.
